01. Is physiological monitoring safe for my health?

Yes. It is a medically approved, multi parameter, ambulatory monitoring system. The system delivers noise-free, live physiological data suitable for review by medical personnel.

02. Are there any health risks in wearing this next to the skin?

No.

03. Does the strapping include Latex (lots of people suffer from a Latex allergy)?

Not currently.

04. Is there any way that the monitor can be over-ridden or tampered with by users?

No, it cannot.

05. Do any environmental factors influence the monitor itself?

No.

06. What training is required to use this equipment?

Minimum training and user quide documentation is available.

07. How long does it take to establish individual and group norms?

Both individual and group norms can be assessed very quickly.

08. Do the units use any form of microwave in the monitoring process?

No. Only Bluetooth is used.

09. How is the physiological data analyse?

Data is analysed with our data mining workbench tool, Authority Miner® in which specialised processes are configured. This analysis can be customised to suit an organisation/department's requirements and even personalised for individual consumption.

10. When can I view the data?

For real time use, the device can be configured to transmit physiological data continuously or at set intervals. The data is also recorded to the device for subsequent off-line analysis.

11. How many people can be monitored at the same time?

Up to 21.

12. What is the memory capacity of the monitoring device?

The monitoring device has an integral 2Gb micro SD memory card. This is sufficient for continuous full disclosure data to be recorded for a period of approximately 10 days.

13. How can I export data from the monitoring device?

Data can be exported as a CSV file for further manipulation in a spreadsheet or database application. The data is time-stamped using an integrated real time clock.

14. Are the monitoring units safe to be worn in a hazardous work place e.g: Scene of a Fire,       Public Order situation?

Yes they are. They are currently in use within a number of UK Fire Brigades and the US military.

01. What equipment can I test?

Any equipment that people use can be tested as it is a person interaction with that equipment that is being tested. Is the equipment fit for use?

02. What stages does the equipment testing cover?

A person's activities whilst using the equipment are monitored to assess their comfort and ability at each stage.

03. How is the equipment tested?

The person's physiology is used to assess the equipment in normal daily use. If the physiology significantly changes that may be an indication that the person is suffering some kind of stress while using the equipment.

04. Can I record and analyse the data?

The results of the analysis can be tailored to any client's wishes.
